Young American Emmanuel Crouvisier to compete in 2003 International Formula Palmer Audi championship

February 7, 2003

(Bedford, England) - American racecar driver Emmanuel Crouvisier has just signed a contract to compete in the 2003 International Formula Palmer Audi championship, headquartered in Bedford, England. This news is truly remarkable, as young Crouvisier is one of fewer than a dozen Americans currently racing in Europe, after finishing a successful first season far away from his Cleveland, Ohio home. In 2002, he competed in the 16-race French La Filière FFSA Formula Campus championship, finishing 8th overall out of 24 drivers, and racking up podium finishes and front-row qualifying efforts throughout the season.

The Formula Palmer Audi championship has expanded its program this season, by including four races outside of the U.K. - two races at Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium, and two races at Monza in Italy. In all, the Formula Palmer Audi championship will compete at three different Formula One tracks, which will prove very useful for Formula One hopeful Crouvisier. The tentative 2003 schedule includes six double-race weekends, as follows:

May 10-11 (Rounds 1+2)
Silverstone International (England)

June 7-8 (Rounds 3+4)
Snetterton (England)

June 27-29 (Rounds 5+6)
Monza (Italy)

August 15-17 (Rounds 7+8)
Brands Hatch (England)

August 29-31 (Rounds 9+10)
Spa (Belgium)

September 13-14 (Rounds 11+12)
Castle Combe (England)

The Formula Palmer Audi cars are truly incredible, featuring 275hp from their 1.8-liter turbocharged Audi motors and steering wheel-mounted overboost buttons which can be used eight times per race, boosting the power to 325hp for a short period of time. The cars were designed with the same concepts as the very best in the world, as is evident from the Formula One inspired aerodynamics.

Crouvisier follows hot in the footsteps of another American on his way to Formula One, thanks to the Red Bull F1 Driver Search program. Joel Nelson, of Reno, Nevada, competed in the 2002 championship, where he finished 2nd overall. This year, Nelson will be competing in the International F3000 championship with the full backing of Red Bull.

The 2003 season in Europe would not be possible if it were not for several key sponsors, including Visionary Bowling Products (www.visionarybowling.com), Technical Translation Services (www.techtranslation.com), and SponsorsWin.com.
